if you created the event whilst events were enabled, you have to enable comments again, go to the event, disable comments on the event, then disable comments entirely.

WP should detect if CPTs don’t have comments but it doesn’t, need to look into that when time permits.

I think this comment box is not for discussion, but rather when someone makes a booking, they can make a booking comment that shows up along with the booking request. So, turning discussion comment won’t effect that. Where is that box controlled from? Maybe I can turn that off there?

I want to disable the comment box ( not word press comments) , that is Event manager comment under Bookings , i already try to remove by modify template file @ forms/bookingform/booking-fields.php but in payment mode ‘comment’ is required field , means shows the validation error.

Mr. Marcus , actually i have added the value to the comment (text area) field and by using css i have remove comment field to mentioned URL , but any other solution ?

A bit of a hack but you could comment out the textarea in booking-fields.php and replace it with a hidden form field with an empty string as a value.
