    Hi There,

I’m setting up an gig calendar with Events Manager and everything is working great except for one thing:
On the Location page I want a list of all the events at that location but i can’t get it working.

I tried to use these shortcodes, but none of them is working well.

    #_LOCATIONPASTEVENTS
    #_LOCATIONNEXTEVENTS
    #_LOCATIONALLEVENTS

Does anyone know how to fix this?
I’m using the newest version of wordpress and events manager.

    Thanks in advance!

  • These are not shortcodes instead a placeholder which you can use on the Settings > Formats/Layouts options:

    #_LOCATIONPASTEVENTS
    #_LOCATIONNEXTEVENTS
    #_LOCATIONALLEVENTS

    Hi agelonwl,

Thanks for your replay but I still don’t get it.
Can I use these placeholders for example in the “Default single location page format” box? And if not could you please explain exactly what I need to do?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can use that in Settings > Formats/Layouts > Locations Format > Single location page format

Hmm weird. That’s exactly what I tried to do but the placeholder “#_LOCATIONALLEVENTS” is published as normal text…

Here you can see what I mean.

    Thanks again!

that’s strange… what’s your whole location format (make sure to do it in backticks so it’s accepted here, if complex, use pastebin.com)

My ‘Default single location page format’ looks like this:

    <object align="right">#_IMAGE</object>
    <a href='https://www.christoflaceulle.nl/agenda/'><- Terug naar Agenda</a>

    #_ADDRESS, #_TOWN

    #_DESCRIPTION
    Agenda op deze locatie:

    #_LOCATIONALLEVENTS

Whilst this has got some bad html, the placeholder works for me, have you tried just that placeholder?

Hmm I just tried it with just the placeholder on the single location page but it still doesn’t work… Could it be a template problem?

    Have a look.

That is not the problem: I tried it with many old and very new template’s… So it should be within the plugin..?

Wow, this is embarrassing: I mixed the “Events Manager” and the “Events Made Easy” because they use the same url tag.

    Thanks for all your help.

np, there wasn’t really anything else to say. Sorry!

We’ll because I started this topic, I would like to say something. I consider myself not a developer but more like a ‘professional user’. It took some time to find the problem and it would be a great help if the plugin names on the left side in the admin menu could be a little different. Now you think both are ‘Events Manager’.
