I have a two day event. I entered the first date in the left hand Event Date box and the second date (next day) in the right hand box.

Event only shows on the first date.

    TIA

Thank you but I’m afraid that I must truely be stupid!

I cannot see anything at the link you give that tells me how to display a two or more day event on all days of the calendar or to display all days on the event’s page.

Could this not be made a default display? ie if over more than one day event automatically shows on all days of calendar and all days show on the event page?

    TIA

If you have a 2-day event (or any number) and you want it to appear on both days in the calendar, then you need to:

    Enter start date
    Enter end date

Then, over on the top right, tick RECURRING. Then put in 1 (it’ll have daily in the drop down). This (in English) means “I want this event to recur each 1 day between the start and end dates”.

    It’ll then show up.

The feature is quite powerful once you get used to using it, and once you get your head around what happens.

Events Calendar then creates one event for each day – and you can amend them separately after that. This is great if you want to create something that has different features/events on each of the days as you can create the fact the event occurs, but then make each calendar content different.

    Thank you PokeAndHope !!!

When I added the event I thought recurrence meant a regular event (ie every year) I didn’t check it!

When you edit an event you do not get the choice of recurrence, so I had to delete the event and then add it again. Is it supposed to be that you can’t change your mind and have it recurrence?

    Cheers
