    Hi,

I updated my event manager plugin to latest version (5.3.6.1)
but now after each booking I’ve got this email:

Guest User (n/a) will attend ….. on 26/03/2013. He wants to reserve 1 spaces.

Now there are 4 spaces reserved, 96 are still available.

When I look at booking page of event manager I can see details of booking (name, email …) but I don’t know why email sends wrong details.
the email that send for confirmation to attendees also shows GUEST USER!

    Could you please help
    Regards,

  • hi,

is it working perfectly before upgrading? and what was that EM version?

also, are you using the no-user mode?

    Hi,

Yes it was working properly before update
I don’t know what was the working version number, but the version right now is 5.3.6.1
and yes, booking is enable for no-ussers

    Regards,
    Reza

I just tried this one again and seems to be working fine? do you have a sample link for us to see?

also, is it possible to deactivate/activate EM again?

could you re-check your no-user booking settings? I have a feeling maybe you deleted the user guests are assigned to.

    Hi Marcus,

there are only two setting for no-user booking:
    Enable No-User Booking Mode?
    which is set to YES

    Assign bookings to
    empty

And please note that I didn’t changed anything (delete or update or ..), I just upgraded the event manager to latest version.

    Thanks

can you try creating a dummy user with a subscriber role then assign them to Assign bookings to

    Wow,
    that was the point.
I added dummy user with subscriber role and assigned and it is working correctly right now.

Thanks Agelonwl for help, much appreciated

    Hi!

I have the same problem as reza_rad. How can I create that dummy user with subscriber role that I can later assign bookings to?

    Thanks a lot!

Just go to WP Admin > Users > Add New

create a new user e.g. emdummyuser
