[Plugin: Events Made Easy] Not Working On Android, iPhone Or Other Mobile Devices.

    The Notes(#_NOTES), Map (#_MAP) and Booking Form (#_ADDBOOKINGFORM) do not work on my Android device. Also tried it on iPhone and Blackberry & doesnot work on them either. They simply do not display.

    I need my events pages to be mobile friendly, as I intend to start marketing them by use of QR codes. There’s no point me setting up a QR code that forwards someone to an event page that does not show the important details or booking form.

    I’m sure there will be others who want to use the same marketing strategy, so this issue needs to be resolved ASAP.

    If it works in a normal browser, then you need to look at your theme or the html you use in the format settings of EME. The parsing of the placeholders is totally independant of the browser/appliance being used.

    I wouldn’t consider this case resolved. I’m not satisfied with your answer. It’s all to easy to point the finger at my theme or html. Have you even bothered to look at this properly?

    I consider all problems equally important. Have you read my answer? The code is very simple and does not make any distinction about which browser is being used. If a full browser is used, it should always display, unless your theme makes exceptions (CSS).
    Did you try the default theme and your mobile device? Have you looked in your browser console for errors? I tried your site on my Nokia N900 (maemo based) and it works just fine.
    Also don’t forget: the #_MAP is flash and thus needs a flash-capable browser, not all mobile devices have this.
