[Plugin: Events Calendar] Linking the title to the post also links admin to post

I am using the Events Calendar list. I couldn’t see a way to link the event to a post, so I linked the title of the event to the post. Now in Events Calendar Admin, the event can’t be edited because it is linked to the post.

How can I link the listed event to a post and still be able to edit the events calendar entry?
