  • that part of the directions is only for if youre using it as a K2 sidebar module. K2 is a specific theme. ignore those directions if youre not using that theme.

I have the same doubt. I don’t know how to configure Events Calendar and how to put it on my sidebar.

Under the Presentation tab (or Design tab if using WordPress 2.5) you will see a tab to add the widgets to the sidebar. Then you can change the options for the particular widget. You can then go under the manage tab and add and edit events that you want to be displayed on your calendar.

Sorry but when I choose the tab widgets it says that this template doesn’t support widget dettection.

I have installed the plugin, but nothing shows up where I can add events to my Manage page. What am I doing wrong?

The Events Calendar tab will appear under the manage tab after the widget is placed on the sidebar. I am going to change it to where it will show up automatically but I haven’t yet.

You theme has to support widgets for this to work. If you theme does not you can download a new theme or you can look at some tutorials on widgetizing a wordpress theme. There are a lot of good ones out there and it is pretty simple.

I have installed this plugin and I have added the evnts calendar widget on my sidebar.
Indeed there is the menu “manage -> events calendar”.
But when I add an event this will not appear in the calendars (the calendar in manage -> events calendar and the events calendar widget in my sidebar).
There is something that don’t to work properly this plugin.
