[Plugin: Events Calendar] Event Archives

Hi, is it possible to add monthly archive functionality into the next update?
It could work just like a monthly archive, but the Months are the actual time of the past events instead of the time that the posts are created.
I’m still trying to figure out a way to do so with current version and a combination of other plugins.
