[Plugin: Events Calendar] Change colours in widget?

I’d like to make changes to the colors in the widget view of the calendar. How do I do this, I have tried editing some of the CSS but can’t seem to make any difference. Is it in the PHP somewhere?
I also want to make the font not bold. Thanks!
