• Hi!

I’m having some trouble customizing the CSS that applies to Event Calendar. I’m using the Twenty-ten theme, and for some reason on the page that lists the event details, the “back” link, the event title, and the ical link all lump together without any margin or linespace between them. I’ve tried tweaking the events.css file and the style.css (the theme’s stylesheet) but no matter where I try to add margin to the top and bottom of any of these attributes, it does not display with any additional margin.

    Here’s a link to my page: https://www.alicebarfordcreative.com/?p=21

Could someone please give me some tips about how to get this looking nicer by pointing out whatever in the code is overriding my attempt to change the margins?

    Best,

    Alice

  • Alice have you tried using Google Chrome to inspect and troubleshoot your CSSes? Chrome is a great browser for nailing down CSS issues like those you’re describing. With your page in Chrome, right-click over the element you want to inspect and select “Inspect element”, and you’ll get all sorts of useful tools.
