Hi, thanks for your plugin. Have you considered adding a functionality to have multiple dates for the same event? I went through ALL wordpress event plugins and there’s NOT a single one that uses custom post types and offers the possibility to add multiple dates. I’m thinking about a button to create unlimited copies of the field group (date/time) like the WPAlchemy function have_fields_and_multi(): https://farinspace.com/wpalchemy-metabox/
    Would be unique!

(I’m currently working on a playing schedule for a theatre. Each production plays on several dates.)

That’s actually quite a good idea. I was thinking of adding some sort of recurrence but this solution sounds better (unlimited recurrence is almost never used for real events).

Will try to implement it in the next update!

amr-events uses custom post types and has 99% of the ical rfc5545 recurrence specification implemented.

It also allows RDATEs (ie not a recurrence rule but individual repeating dates).

The free version which copes iwth all the repeating rules etc uses external ics files and does all the listing hard work. amr-events is an add-on that lets you create events in wp with recurrence etc and generate your own ics feeds.
