[Plugin: Event Organiser] Template tag for content/description?

  • If you’re referring to template pages – then the_content as for any other post works.

    However for the event list shortcode or widget template, there isn’t a tag yet – but there will be for 1.3.3: %event_excerpt%.

    Can you display the WYSIWYG content using the event list shortcode?

    No (not yet at least)… just the excerpt, which unless provided will use the WYSIWYG content.

    A ‘list’ of events (which you can set to display the content by editing the template files) is generated on the event ‘archive’ page. Alternatively you could ‘hard-code’ a list into your theme using the plug-in provided functions.

    The trouble with using WYSIWYG content in the shortcode/widget list – is that this list is simply a <ul> list – and some themes put <div> elements inside the content and all manner of things that could break the <ul> elements.
