[Plugin: Event Organiser] I can't get this thing to work at all

    OKay, I use the Atahuapla theme. WordPress is up to date as is that theme. I can’t get the calender to show up in the menu on the front page nor can I get a post to become a reoccurring post. I have read the FAQ, looked through the settings, reloaded the plug-in and no luck. the URL is https://www.jewishpeoria.org. I can’t get it work. Please help me. we are a small not for profit and I am just some guy who got roped into doing this. I have little in the way of real web training and am trying to learn on the fly.

    I went through the settings, set up pretty permalinks, (I think) and nothing. I put the calander into the menu but nothing.

    Updated: I have fixed the reoccuring post problem and now seem to have a list posted on my menu. I want it to be the calendar view. Getting there. Help!

    Hi Akravetz,
    Which calendar are you trying to add? The widget calendar, or the large fullCalendar (much like the admin calendar)?

    The former can be added to your theme through the Appearance > Widget menu. The later can be added to any page or post with the following

    [eo_fullcalendar]

    (Just add that in the post editor wherever you want it to appear)

    Steve, I have managed to put the Events Widget on one of my sidebars but the event page (the single event) looks distorted. Also, I have multiple events on one day so therefore the widget view, I think, isn’t going to do me well.

    I have been looking at short codes and confess, I don’t know where to put it. Post Editor? Do you mean when you create an event, use the short code somewhere in those fields down near the bottom or do you mean I have to go into the actual code using perl or something and change code?

    To be clear, I want to have a menu option along the top where someone can click on the menu button and get a full calendar that shows everything that the admin calender shows….

    I got it working!!!! Thanks for the help and the guideance. it’s an amazing plug-in. One last thing… how can I change the time from military to standard usage… 7:33 p.m.?? let’s say

    Glad you got it working.

    For time format, try the following:

    [eo_fullcalendar timeFormat=”g:i a”]

    The time format can be anything listed here.
