This is a wordpress installation issue, not an EoM plugin issue. Confirm that you have installed your build correctly.

Hi Matthew, as far as I am aware, WP is installed correctly. In part, this is illustrated by the fact that all other plugins installed are functioning correctly.

    Next step..?

Not sure why you are pointing to a random directory. Do you have permalinks enabled? Is there a page ready to go called “events” with this URL?

Hi Matthew, thanks for writing back.

I do have permalinks enabled; and yes, there is a page titled ‘events’… here; https://www.theatresportsimpro.com.au/events/.

    All very confusing.

    Cheers, thanks for your help.

If there is a page with a permalink at that address and it is not resolving, something is at hand that is outside the scope of this plugin. Try creating a new page at another address and adding the event listings there.

Thanks Matthew, I created new page with different URL and it worked.

For some reason, even with a new page and the old one deleted, the permalink ‘/events/’ simply did not want to work. Oh well, just one of those things.

By the way, while I ‘have’ you; where do all the email addresses go? It would be good to be able to write to the people who post an event; especially when they omit some info or something.

    Cheers and thanks,

    Good.
They are in the DB, but not available within the admin. I think this will be available in the next release.

Looking forward to that being built into the admin; when do you think you’ll be releasing it?

    Thanks Matt.
