• Could you tell me if this is an issue with others or just the server i’m on.

Today I had my account suspended due to a resource overload. On investigation of the log files it would appear that the plugin was making high demands on the server cpu. I can only quote what the web host said, so therefore seek any help or advice on this issue.

    QUOTE:

It seems the problem is being caused by the ‘eshop’ plugin inside your ‘plugins’ folder.

I have disabled this plugin for the time being and the server load is normal. When this is re-enabled the server load quickly rises beyond normal limits.

To rectify this situation, I recommend upgrading that particular plugin or using an alternative.

I haven’t come across problem – or I’d have looked into it. So at this time I do not know what would need improving – sorry.

I do know there are problems on a few hosting companies, but on unrelated issues (such as limiting post inputs..).

    Hi Elfin,

Just to let you know that the plugin was not at fault but was to do with some information within the htaccess file. Once removed and the plugin reactivated all is well.

Cheers for your time in responding and also in the skills department of creating such an easily configurable plugin.

Apologises for any concern that may have been caused.

    We love it!!
    Cheers Johnb
