Well there’s not much to see as I’m in the very early stages, but you can look at this page:
    https://power-cards.com/test-product/

Now try adding a featured image to that Page via the core Set featured image option in Edit Page. I’d also suggest that you deactivate all other plugins whilst testing this. You don’t have another ecommerce plugin installed, so you?

I did have e-commerce plugin installed, but deactivated it prior to my first message. I just deleted it completely. Also deactivated all other plugins. I removed and then added the featured image on the test page – still no image. I might as well let you take a look inside.

No! Never, ever, post login details for your site on a public forum. You’ve just given the rest of the world access to your site’s back end. Change the password now!

okay – put it back, but wasn’t too worried as there’s really nothing of consequence on the site right now.

Phew! Please don’t scare me like that again. ??

Ok – back to your image issue. The featured image that you added to the Page will be used if/when you use any of eShop’s Product Listing shortcodes such as:

    [eshop_list_subpages panels="yes" form="yes"]

on a “department” (parent) Page. Within the Page itself, you just insert the images you want to use manually – either as single images or as a gallery.

okay thanks – didn’t understand that the featured image wasn’t supposed to show on the product page.

It varies from theme to theme. On Twenty Eleven, Pages don’t make use of the Featured image on the single Page.
