• I have eshop running with a payment gateway of paypal. My authorize.net gateway is set up, but when when checking out I get “(97) This transaction cannot be accepted.” from authorize.net’s processing.

I’m sure it has to do with my API Login ID or Transaction Key but I do not fully understand these. Anyone know of any tutorials to get eshop working with eshop?

    Thanks in advance.

    well from the documentation:
    97
    This transaction cannot be accepted.
Applicable only to SIM API. Fingerprints are only valid for a short period of time. This code indicates that the transaction fingerprint has expired.

i didn’t get any feedback while adding authorize.net so its kinda untested ??

So does this mean that while eshop lists authorize.net as a payment gateway, you have never actually gotten it to work? Or does this mean that it worked for you, but you haven’t tested it across many installations?

In plain words, if I keep tinkering with it, will it eventually work, or would I be wasting my time?

No it means I asked for people to beta test, and they were able to test it – however none of them came back with any feedback. (tell a lie one person has, he has just come and answered a 3 week old query…)

I was able to confirm it works via their test settings – I am unable to check with a live account, as I do not have one.

Great! I have access to a live account and would love to use authorize.net with eshop. I will test it and get back to you to confirm it works on a live account.

    thanks ??

Just read this thread…I too am interested in this plugin, but integration with authorize.net is a must for our company. Checking in to see if it’s functional with authorize.net yet?

It may well be, and I’d appreciate feedback if you try it out.

Playing around with installing eshop right now; I’m no programmer but would be happy to let you know if authorize.net works or not for us.

Well I have been asked to help with someone else, a quick upgrade to current eShop seemed to fix the issues he had been having, and it works fine in test mode. Just waiting confirmation it also works when it is ‘live’.

We tried an order “live” just now and it appeared to work just fine. Success!

    excellent, thanks for the feedback.

By the way, thanks for a great plugin. Our company was looking at different solutions and one of the primary reasons we decided to go with yours is your responsiveness, as evidenced by your quick replies on quirm.net.

    Update:

While the order goes through just fine with autorize.net and the money is deposited into our account, the order is still marked as “failed” in eshop, and the email which includes the download is thus never sent to the customer.

When we get the payment notification email, it looks like this:

This is the email we receive with an order successful from authorize.net

Any ideas? The payment is going through but something is still causing it to be flagged as failed in eshop. I’d be happy to help provide data/feedback/help with testing via email, but I’m not a programmer myself.
