[Plugin: eShop] Does the buyers have to have a paypal account?

  • Hi, great plugin. Thank you. When a user buys something and it goes to paypal, they get the screen to enter the credit card information but it says it’s making an account too. Is that normal? I thought people could buy from paypal without having to have an account.

  • I had to go and do a test to confirm this. They can – but you have to look for the link on the left hand side of the screen at paypal.

    as part of paying with a credit card they also sign up but it’s a very painless procedure… this needs to happen so they can receive their receipt from paypal for their purchase to their email
