The last update broke the plugin. There were 3 flags on the page, next to each other, it turned into a drop-down list of 3 flags, in the plugin preview widget settings you can see 3 flags next to each other, the page is different, reset cookies, reset settings in the plugin database, nothing helps, plugin with mistakes.

Live chat is offline currently, it will be back on Monday, so you have to wait.

    Thanks!

I can’t use the shortcode because the WordPress theme doesn’t allow it, in the header of the page I have the HTML widget busy and only the widget from the menu available, I just can’t use the shortcode and attach GTranslate to the menu, which unfortunately does not work properly and has plugin errors after update.

But what significant changes have taken place, the preview widget shows something else than what is on the website, an obvious plugin error, the configuration says something else, what is happening on the website differently. The plug is completely melted.

If the plugin cannot display 3 flags next to each other attached to the menu, why is this option available in its configuration? As far as I know there are thousands of broken pages after your update.

@oyo84 WordPress theme doesn’t allow it? I do not think you are right.

Just read the Positioning tips, there are multiple ways you can achieve what you need, including using [gtranslate] shortcode as well as individual link elements with [gt-link ...] shortcode.

If you try something and it doesn’t work, provide the steps you take, your expectations and what actually happens and I’ll try to help or point to the right direction.

    Thanks! ??

After all, each theme is different, a commercial theme is different from a handwritten one.

I don’t have the option to add a shortcode in the header in my theme.

The plugin update broke the whole site, i.e. translating it, me and many other people.

Will there be an update to fix these bugs?

@oyo84 you can create a child theme and add <?php echo do_shortcode('[gtranslate]'); ?> in PHP context in your theme files. Any theme will allow that.

If you can display “Hello World” text on your desired position, then you can show the language selector.

There is another new option to place the selector using CSS selector.

I do not see a bug report. If you do not know what to do, then post your website address, describe where you want the language selector to go and I’ll try to help.

    Thanks! ??

I can’t display the text, I only have a field from the menu to which I have attached GTranslate, now this option breaks the plugin for me and many other people.

@oyo84 Are you going to post your website address and describe where you want the selector to appear?
