    It works! It does what its supposed to.

    But I can’t use a plugin that appends the following code to the first line of every page of my site.

    <html lang="en-US" prefix="og: https://ogp.me/ns# fb: https://ogp.me/ns/fb# website: https://ogp.me/ns/website#">

    Edit: I now understand that this is required for open-graph to work. Thus, the plugin does exactly what it’s supposed to given the standards it has to work with.

    Thank you for clearing that up.

    Thanks for the review. I’m curious why you this is a concern. This prefix is what enables your site to be properly parsed for Open Graph across social networks.

    Thanks for replying so fast.

    I revised the score. It’s not your fault! You shouldn’t get dinged for the open graph standard.

    Everytime I install a plugin I always check the HTML source to verify the plugin is going its job. If I find any alien HTML files or links the offending plugin is ejected as quickly as possible.

    Part of this makes me wonder why can’t I serve the protocol files right off of my site instead of referring to a third party parser. But i’m sure that’s far beyond the scope of the plugin.

    Thank you — I appreciate that! That’s a fair concern. Let me know if you see any other ways I can improve the plugin for you and others in the future.
