I have installed the plugin and activated it. Working with WPWeaver theme. When placing Youtube-urls in a post, nohing happens, it just stays an url. Tried both wysiwyg and html editor, without succes.

In your WordPress dashboard, under the Settings menu, go to Media settings.
Make sure that Auto-embeds is enabled.

Sorry this isn’t mentioned in the documentation. Working to fix that right now.

I’m getting this error when I use this plugin and it does not embed.

Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Delimiter must not be alphanumeric or backslash in /wp-includes/class-oembed.php on line 87

isisjade Please disable all plugins, then reactivate only this plugin
If that works, reactivate the other plugins one by one until you’ve found the one that is causing the conflict

@isisjade I had the same problem. Seems like there was a bug inside the youtu.be oEmbed part in the plugin. You have to disable regex on it (as it is in the wp core).
I wrote a more detailed instruction on my blog

Uzicoppa Thank you so much for finding this.
I am posting an updated version with your fix, giving you credit of course.
