[Plugin: Email Before Download] Sending two emails at once

  • Occasionally the plugin will send two emails. (I haven’t figured out what triggers the second email.) One is the correct email with the download attachment and correct template message. The other one seems to be from the Contact Form 7 with their template:

    From: [your-name] <[your-email]>
    Subject: [your-subject]

    Message Body:
    [your-message]

    How can I stop this second email from being sent out?

    Hi jen697,

    Thanks for using our plugin. Yes, if you select the email option in the Email Before Download plugin, there will be two emails. The default email is always sent by the Contact Form 7 plugin wherever that is configured (typically back to you for notification purposes) and the second will be sent to the user who is requesting the download by our Email Before Download plugin.
