  • Thanks for using the Editorial Calendar. I’m sorry it stopped working. The most common cause is a JavaScript conflict with another plugin. You should double-check that you haven’t installed or upgraded any plugins on themes recently.

The other place to check is your JavaScript error console. Some browsers just call it the Error Console. It shows up in different places depending on which browser you’re using.

Thanks for answering. I have found the error console and get this:

    Error: JSON.parseIt
    Source File: https://flaneur.me.uk/wp-content/plugins/editorial-calendar/lib/edcallib.min.js?ver=3.2.1
    Line: 41

Is there somewhere in WordPress where I can see the dates when plugins were turned on? I have a lot, but the editorial calendar is one that I definitely need.

Thanks for the plugin and advice,
    Jonathan

    More info:

I have updated to the latest version.

On the calendar screen if I go back two months and then forward two months (back to now) the posts appear! But at one point a big red sign came up saying ‘Error, contacting your blog.’

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

When you first load the calendar or scroll it around the calendar calls to your blog to get the posts to show. The format it expects back is JSON. That error indicates that your blog isn’t returning valid JSON.

The most common reason for this issue is another plugin which is injecting HTML into the response. Have you recently changed any plugins that add content to your posts?

If you would like I can log into your blog and tell you which plugin it is.

    Thanks,
    Zack
