[Plugin: Edit Flow] notification on status change IF in a certain category?

    Is it possible to notify say an editor that a post is ready for editing once it gets marked as pending review If its in a specific category? I have different editorial teams and they each cover a certain section so my goal is to have a certain team get notified if a post in their section needs editing.

    Also, i have yet to receive a satisfactory response to my earlier question as to why contributors are unable to see the editorial calendar. I did install the plugin on my mirror site for testing and it works fine there so there must be something wrong with the install on my main site. How does one go about completely uninstalling Edit Flow?

    Yes, you can auto-subscribe user groups when the post status changes. You’ll want to modify that code snippet just a little bit so it does different things based on which category the post is in.
