[Plugin: Edit Flow] Change the Subject of Email Notifications

    I recently installed Edit Flow and plan to use it to assign articles and notify authors that they have a new assignment pending. Is it possible to change the subject line of the email notification?

    The current subject line is: [BlogName} Post Status Changed for “Title of Article”

    Instead, I’d like it to say: New Article Assigned from BlogName: Title of Article

    It would be great to be able to customize the message of the email as well, but the subject line is most crucial for helping new authors understand our editorial flow and track their jobs.

    There isn’t currently a way to easily change the subject line for the email notifications. Part of the reason is that the subject lines vary depending on the action performed and the action’s relevant data.

    It’s on our list to improve the email notifications themselves, and I’ll include your request to be able to just modify the text in the notification.
