To RavanH, I believe this code is from Easy Fancybox, easy-fancybox-settings.php

    '+selectedArray[selectedIndex].href+'

My Sitemap generator is generating Broken Link errors like these :

    astrablog/voxativ-videos/’+selectedArray[selectedIndex].href+’

    astrablog/mastersound-evolution-845-amplifier-videos/’+selectedArray[selectedIndex].href+’

Any ideas why ? is there a syntax error somewhere in easy-fancybox-settings.php where a setting is empty or not filled and causes this ?

Thanks … it is important for SEO of course …

Everything is working fine, as seen here -> https://www.astrasuite.com/astrablog/voxativ-videos/

It’s just this problem in the backend ….

  • Which sitemap generator is that?

    This one :

    https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

It has worked flawlessly for over 10 years, unless this is something new in this plugin they have to be informed about ?

Wow… how do you prevent that service from crawling/indexing all kinds of crappy non-relevant links like subsequent comment pages or even plugin file URLs and how do you not pass the 500 URL limit every time?

Anyway, I’ve let it run against some of my own sites where Easy FancyBox is running (non have W3TC though, I use WP Super Cache) and it does not show any broken link errors. Then I let it index https://www.astrasuite.com/astrablog/ but it has been running for over 20 minutes now…

Ah… It just finnished and presented me a sitemap. Looking at the source, I see no faulty URLs.

Could you try again to see if the issue is still there?

    Or am I misunderstanding you?

I use the Pro version, where I can control what it should index ,and has unlimited urls. It’s a great generator, helps prevent getting crawl errors from Google robot/Google Webmaster Tools before it happens. I just blocked the problem URLs so Google won’t index them. Of course, it won’t include other files like plugin URLS, it looks only at the static and dynamic HTMLs and what is inside them, just like Google robot.

I only used Easy Fancybox to show videos from a video gallery plugin in a “lightbox” view for youtube videos WITH HD, but I finally found another great gallery plugin that does it all, without the need to have two plugins, and works for the Ipad/Iphone, shows the full descriptions, has sharing tools, has the responsive design, and no licensing issues too (not using Fancybox).

So for anyone reading this, please ignore the example earlier link above (https://www.astrasuite.com/astrablog/voxativ-videos/), as it uses something else already.

Thanks for your help, and for replying, all the best. Good sign that there is support for your plugin. It’s a nice tool.
