[Plugin: Easy Digital Downloads] Feature Request to Limit Downloads

  • I need to limit the number of times my customers can download their purchased products. For example, they can have 5 download attempts and 5 days to download the products. If for some reason in the future the customer needs the email resent to them, they can email me and I would like to be able to send them a new email and give them 5 fresh new download attempts and 5 additional days.

    Great job and keep up the good work!

    I also have a feature request, “download mirrors option” and “user role control” with “download count and bit rate limits” with “default global options” for “bulk adding downloads”.

    Just a thought, I realize that’s a ton to do…

    It might be done as an add-on at some point, but will not likely ever make into the core plugin, as it would simply be too much.

    The feature to limit downloads has been included in a recent update.
