  • Me too facing the same issue.

    I upgraded from v2.98 to v2.99 but still WordPress prompts me to upgrade. This is an infinite loop.

    Probably Manoj missed a version update in some file in the urgency to fix the critical bug.

    I’ve already mailed Manoj about this separately, and he probably knows about it anyway.

    The good thing is it’s just a version check issue. The version value is not updated so WordPress thinks the plugin version is 2.98 even though it’s actually 2.99. So it’s not really a major issue at all.
