I have a site which is getting much traffic regularly. Going around and disabling plugins isn’t really an option.

You could try on a fresh install then, best on the same server or go for local.

I had a hunch and was right. It is conflicting with w3 total cache. Hopefully, this can get resolved without having to disable one or the other…

More specifically, disabling minify allows this to display

I’m looking forward to move all the CSS generation to the WP_Filesystem API, this way the results is a CSS file instead of a PHP script, resolving in a faster an less problematic execution.

dont most people use some sort of caching plugin? Thisseems to be very limited until it works with caching.

I really think it might be the decent thing to do to clearly state on the plugin page that this thing doesnt work with minify, so people don’t waste their time, like I did.

What minifying plugin are you using? Latest version does not generate any external file, should not give you trouble.
