[Plugin: Dynamic Headers] Using TwentyTen… HELP!

I’m using TwentyTen and cannot figure out HOW or WHERE to install the code in the header.php file. I’ve followed the instructions from the posts here but I end with TWO headers OR I end up with the headers working but the sizes are crazy. The main header is too big and the header for another page is too small.

I’m not really good w/ html, etc. so can someone break it down where to put this code and how to make it so each picture is the same size in the header?
