[Plugin: Duplicator] sub-domains

    Hi, thanks for this amazing plugin!

    I need to transfer a site with several of its sub-domains to a new server. I’m wandering if I need to create a package from each sub-domain (each uses wordpress) and install each sub-domain again, or if I can just create a package of the main site and install it…?

  • Hey Panuma,

    If each sub-domain is its own wordpress instance (has it’s own wp-config.php and database) such as:
    sub1.mysite.com = mydatabase1
    sub2.mysite.com = mydatabase2

    Then you will have to create package at each site. If you have created seperate sub-domains to different portions of the same wordpress instance then you should only need one package, however you will most likely have to configure your web server to respond to the various subdomains…
