Plugin duplicating instead of only updating products

for some reason instead of my template only updating product inventory/stock levels of products that already exists onmy website , it’s rather duplicating products.

That could happen if you set up a new “New Items” import with products that already exist. This import type can’t find products created manually or by other imports, so it results in duplicates.

My suggestion here is to create a single “New Items” import for your file/feed and continually update that same import when you need to update stock (settings: https://d.pr/i/VDPer9) or add new products: https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/recurring/update-import/.
