[Plugin: Download per Mail] Plugin can't be activated: fatal error

I just got the following error message when trying to install the plugin:
Das Plugin kann nicht aktiviert werden, da es einen fatalen Fehler erzeugt.
it points to line 235.
Too bad, I had high hopes that this can be a useful plugin…
any solution? I am using version 3.1. of WP, by the way
