[Plugin: Download Monitor] formatting downloads lists

  • Hi, I’d like to list downloads by category on a “Resources” page. I’m able to get the lists I want, but not the output formatting I want… Could someone please help?

    Whitepapers
    [download_cat#1]

    Case Studies
    [download_cat#5]

    shows bulleted lists of linked titles with download counts in parenthesis after each title. What I’d really like to see is lists by category with

    Title
    Description
    Link to download

    I can get the title and description to show up for one item at a time using a custom output format

    <h3>{title}</h3>{description-autop}

    that I invoke on the page as follows:

    [download#id#format=id]

    I can’t seem to apply the request for custom formatting to a category of downloads, nor can I figure out how to show a link to the download using custom formatting… all due, I’m sure, to my lack of WordPress sophistication… Thanks in advance for any help you might offer.
