[Plugin: Donate Plus] DonatePlus form always shown in EXPANDED view.

When the [donateplus] code is used to display the Donate Form on the page, the form is always presented in the expanded view. I cannot discern whether this is an issue with the plugin, or my version of WordPress.
This particular issue has been raised before on previous forum posts, but either I cannot find any insight into the problem, or the thread has been closed without resolution!
Does anyone have any ideas surrounding where I should be looking to rectify this anomaly?
