Hello. Thanks for this plugin. It’s a great job!

I have a problem with Safari Browser. When I use Chrome everything looks good (fields in two responsive columns), but in Safari it doesn’t work ??

Any ideas what I do wrong?

    Best regards
    Lukas

I found in Safari Console this mistake:

“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (HTTP/1.1 404)
    https://brandsushi.pl/wp-content/plugins/cf7-grid-layout/assets/css.gs/smart-grid.css.map”

There is no smart-grid.css.map file in “assets” folder. Maybe, this is a problem?

Here is a similar problem: https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/5135

Can u tell which version of Safari you are testing on? Safari 10 and upward is ES2015 compatible. If you are using a previous version of safari, this could be the issue.

the css.map 404 error might due to sass or boostrap. Are you using either of those?

The smart-grid.css file is loading fine, but for some reason the browser is not rendering the stylesheet. I tried loading another page with a similar form construct from one of my projects, and it renders properly.

I don’t have access to a development environment on safari right now, as I work on linux mainly, however, I should be able to get access to one by the end of this week, once I get back to my office. So I will look into this again.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I have the latest version of the safari, but I found a solution for my problem. Yesterday I tried to create two columns (1/2 and 1/2) and it was not in a single row in Safari (and everything looked good in Chrome).

Today I created a new contact form with two columns, but I used the size five (5/12ths) for each of the columns. Additionally for the first column I gave offset one (1/12th). Now the form looks perfect in Safari and Chrome ?? Thank you again for this amazing plugin!

Now the form looks perfect in Safari and Chrome

great, still it should not depend on the size of the columns, it should work fine either way. I am glad it works for now.

Thank you again for this amazing plugin!

welcome, please leave your review on the plugin page.
