    Please help.

    The logs are not clear to me what’s going on.

    The users subscribe in full details (first and last name and email address)

    yes the plugin is failing. Unable to see the basic details, it can see Mailchimp, but the logs show problems.

    What is causing this, and what can I do?

    Hey @kristianngve ,

    You have a couple of things going on….

    For one, the First Name and Last Name fields are required fields in your Mailchimp account. That isn’t normal, but it’s something that can be enabled.

    In your case the user registration doesn’t include those fields. Your log source says “unknown”, which means you’re probably using a membership plugin or other frontend registration form.

    Can you try adding a new user from Users >> Add New in the WordPress admin, and specifying a first name and last name? That should work.

    With the free version of WP Fusion that’s the only place we can guarantee the data will sync to Mailchimp.

    Obviously in the paid version of WP Fusion we support over 100 different plugins, and can detect and sync that data automatically regardless of the registration form, but in the free version those custom fields may or may not sync, depending on what plugin you’re using for registrations.

    If the new user syncs to Mailchimp from the admin, then I’d suggest making the First Name and Last Name fields not required in Mailchimp.

    Then… the Resource Not Found error looks to me like you maybe deleted an audience in Mailchimp, or changed the active audience, and didn’t update the Mailchimp Audience setting at Settings >> WP Fusion >> General.

    Note that after changing the audience in the WP Fusion settings, you should click the Refresh Available Tags & Fields button to load the updated metadata for that list.

    Thank you – it was 2 issues:

    1. I forgot to add an audience: Mailchimp Audience setting at Settings >> WP Fusion >> General.

    2. First Name and Last Name fields not required in Mailchimp.
