plugin doesn’t work anymore

I don’t see WP Editor buttons since upgrading to the new block-style version of Word Press. Is this being addressed?

I am just a user and use wp edit.
With the new wordpress editor Gutenberg as the standard installation you will not see wp edit when you start a new post/page.
Use then the block classic editor and when you click that block you will see all the buttons of wp edit.
If you don’t want to use Gutenberg then install the plugin classic editor and wp edit will appear directly with a new pag/post.

Check you tube for tutorials on Gutenberg.
