I like your plugin and already use it without any problem on my main website electrozombies.com.

In my new project madcapmovies.com, it seems that the plugin doesn’t track any visits. Since my launch last week Popular Posts shows “0 views”. But we already got a few hundered views. I have no clue what’s going on and I hope you can help me out.
BTW: The movie posts are in a CPT.

    Here is the debug log:

    Hi @thomasfrenken,

I just checked your site and visited one of the movie pages and the plugin seems to be tracking visits just fine. Or at least I tracked my visit without issues.

Where exactly are you seeing this “0 views” thing?

In the popular posts overview. See screenshot:

Ah, by default the Stats screen will only show posts. You need to include your “movie” CPT to the list of post types for them to show up:

    1. Click on the Cog icon at the top right.
    2. Type in your movie CPT in there. If you’re listing more than one post type, make sure they’re comma separated (eg. post, page, movie, etc)
    3. Click on Apply to save changes.
    4. Profit!

@bjpbkk if you’re having the exact same issue then this solution applies to you as well, otherwise please open a new topic, describe the problem in detail there and also share your site’s URL so I can have a look.

That’s it. I clicked the cog icon and saw this dialog, but didn’t realize that I can change it here. So the data is tracked and everything is fine. I simply didn’t see it in the statistics. Thank you very much for your great and fast help.

    Kind regards, Thomas Frenken
