Plugin doesn’t send payment confirmation back to WOO

Hi,
unfortunately the payment gateway is problematic. After a payment by the customer, there is no response code to the Woocommerce system that the payment was received. The order then gets canceled because of the payment timeout and since I’m using Woo Cart abandonment plugin the customer gets a message asking what went wrong which is additionally confusing as usability experience.
How to fix that.
