    Actually I don’t think you should upload the @2x files in WordPress Media, because you shouldn’t use them directly in there (instead the non @2x file is used and a script or plugin load the @2x file is needed).

    Do you use WP Retina 2x? It would take care of everything for you. All my blogs are designed and developed to work perfectly with Media File Renamer and WP Retina 2x.
