Problem is better to see here: https://www.cvshop.net/resume-templates/

Same issue for me – completely stopped working as of the latest update. No srcset images are added.

User error in my case – retina images were on my local install but not on my live site.

    Hi guys,

For the Pro users, a few days ago there was a big issue with my servers and a few users got “disabled”. Now it’s no problem, make sure the serial is there and click on Save Changes in the plugin settings.

For the SRC SET not being updated, this is strange, the latest update didn’t change this at all… First make sure the cache is cleared (all the caches). And also “PictureFill” needs to be selected as the method, otherwise there is no rewriting (the now recommended method only adds the retina images to the src-set already created by WP).

    Thanks for your replay.

The plugin works correctly on our testing server.

We found out that the function “wr2x_picture_rewrite” tests (line 128 of wp-retina-2x.php) whether the variable $buffer is empty. If it’s not the script continues.

But on our main server the $buffer variable is empty and the script end with the ?return $buffer“ command.

Have you (or other users) had this problem before?

I have an idea, are you using the Yoast SEO plugin with the Rewriting Titles option enabled? If yes, can you try to turn it off?

    Yes, we are using it.
We turned it off and your plugin works correctly.
    Solution?

Sorry, I didnt remake your last message properly.
I tryed Rewriting Titles option off but problem persists.
However when I switch off Yoast plugin completely your plugin worked ok.
