Just want to make sure I’m not missing something…

Once implemented, this plugin will create the new permalinks for all newly-created pages. But to confirm – it will NOT create new permalinks for existing posts, and redirect the old permalink structure to the new one?

[Edited to add: while experimenting, noticed there is a new “regenerate permalink” button on exiting posts, which does create the newly-structured permalink and create a redirect for the old permalink. Is there a way to force regeneration for all posts at once?

If installed on a site with existing posts, are there any “gotchas” to watch out for?

    Thanks!

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for reaching to the support forum of Permalinks Customizer..!

Sorry at this moment there is not functionality available which regenerates all the Permalinks at once.

You need to manually edit the page and generate the permalink for it.

I am working on some updates of the plugin so, in future this functionality are also going to be available.

Let me know, if you have any other question.

    Thanks,
    Sami

    Hi @thompsonpaul

Redirect functionality has been added in the latest version of the plugin which is v2.0.0

Now, you can easily change your permalink at anytime without having any redirect issue. Even you can regenerate permalinks in bulk if you want to change them..

    Thanks,
    Sami
