    Hi testingrichestsoft,

Try removing the three checkboxes from your search form. Then, when you make a search, you will find the ‘Community Members’ under their own tab, the ‘Business Members’ under their own tab, and so on.

I don’t want that tabs of BuddyPress Member Types under search form. I want the users to search for Buddypress member types by checking checkbox according to its requirement. Please let me know how can I achieve the accurate result based on checking member type.
    Thanks!

When you make a search for ‘Business Members’, BP Profile Search gives you the list of members that have the field ‘Business Members’ in their BuddyPress profile. If you check the few members that you get as results, you’ll confirm that all of them have the field ‘Business Members’ in their profile.

In other words, BP Profile Search can only search the members profile, not their membership level.

I don’t know how you got the ‘Business Members’ field in a few profiles, but probably the only way to make BP Profile Search work is to replicate the membership level in a BuddyPress profile field.

Can you please tell me in which table profile fields is getting saved. So that I can manually update the profile fields as business member in the database for previous registered members.

    Thanks!

The table is bp_xprofile_data. There you’ll find the existing ‘Business Members’ fields, and there you can add the same field for the remaining business members.

Yes. This works great. But somehow its not correct result for “Community Member”. On searching “Community Member”,it shows the result of Business Member. You can check their profile field also. I have followed the same step as I followed for Business Member and Global Member.

I will be very grateful to you if you help me to get out of this problem.

    Thanks!

I can see the problem, but to investigate it I need to look at the site internals. If that’s ok with you, please send an email to my address [email protected]
