    Hi
Since your plugin does not work with gtag yet, I’m using Google Analytics Dashboard for WP and the tracking type is set to analytics.
The Reduce Bounce Rate plugin settings are default with tracking code set as analytics.js
but there is no reduction in bounce rate at all (it’s around 85%). I have used this plugin for a couple of years on this site and it was reducing the bounce rate to below 20%.
    Can you assist?
    Thx

    Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. I didn’t get a notification from WordPress.

Is it already working? I see the code is there, so it should work, but I also see that there are other tracking plugins actives and that there are many errors on your page. Maybe it’s better to fix those first.

    Hi
No it’s not working. Bounce rate is still about 85%.
What do you mean that I have other tracking plugins? I have GADWP and I also use Jetpack analytics (but I’ve used jetpack for years and it was never causing problems).
What errors do I have? Don’t understand.
    Let me know
    Thx

    Hi,

Here are your errors: https://s33.postimg.cc/igss2z7rj/errors.png. I believe you need to fix these first before my plugin works.

Btw, I saw that you don’t have a Privacy Policy. You know that you can be sued for millions of dollars these days for not having one, right?

Thank you for sending me the screenshot.
I had a wrong setting on my Cloudflare account and that was conflicting with WP Rocket plugin. After fixing the error, your plugin started working properly.
The bounce rate now ranges around 25% which is great.
Thanks for helping me to solve the problem.
    All good now.

    Welcome.

One thing you should know is that your Bounce Rate according to Google hasn’t dropped because they use their own system to measure it. It’s just a different way of writing your stats to Analytics and you have a more realistic image of what’s happening on your website.
