Plugin does not format my code (it’s not doing anything)

    Good morning,

    I’m really looking forward to using the Syntax Highlighter plugin. I can’t get it to work however… I installed the plugin, made sure the <?php wp_footer(); ?> is in the footer, and activated the plugin too. When I make use of the ‘Syntaxhighlighter Code’ block, I get the regular formatting.

    Do you have any recommendations on what I could do to fix this?

  • I am facing the same issue. Not getting line numbers either. Note I am using the Gutenberg block and not the shortcode. This is the generated HTML:

    <pre class="brush: xml; title: ; notranslate">...</pre>

    Switching themes fixed things for me. Only issue still is that when one types the ampersand (&), it changes to &.
