    hello,
I’m trying your backup plugin on one of my websites.
I tried a full backup both local and with remote storage, but I notice that it backups all the plugins except itself (the entire wpvivid backup folder is missing) so when I try to restore the whole site, the plugin is missing and I need to reinstall it.

Is that normal or something unexpected?

    thank you very much,
    best regards.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback!

    That’s normal.

Since our plugin has restore feature, we assume that users will use our plugin to restore the backups, which means they will also install the plugin on the new sites.

    Regards

    Hello,
ok, thank you for the answer,
is there any option or hidden option to manually include in the backup also the plugin itself?
I’d like to use it as a backup plugin but with this behaviour reinstalling e resetting all the options and remote storage auth after restore may generate human errors.

    thank you,
    best regards.

    Hi,

Unfortunately there’s no such option available at this moment.

However, there are “export” and “import” options in the plugin Settings, which allow you to export your settings (remote storage auth included) to your PC, then to import the file in a new installation with one click.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards
