• I really liked this plugin and was able to achieve the objective of ‘Exporting my users to a CSV”.

I can’t give 5 stars because I feel this plugin could be improved by doing the following:

    * Making passwords exportable using a checkbox rather then adding code.
    * Allowing the user the option to set the column headers to assist with importing plugins.
    * Add an “Import” option into the plugin as well to avoid the hassle of trying to find a suitable plugin to import the data into another wordpress site.
    * Give the user a couple more options on what data to include.

    Great contribution!

Happy to accept your pull requests for those additional features here:
    https://github.com/mathetos/export-users-to-csv/issues

I do plan to make the password a setting, but only because people are asking for it — I really don’t recommend it at all. Plain-text passwords are a PCI compliance and security nightmare.

The headers are set by the database. Changing that would most likely produce more problems than it solves.

I won’t be adding an “Import” — that’s not what this plugin is. There are many others that import already.

I plan to have checkboxes for all user meta to allow you to choose which meta you want to export.

Other than that, I’m glad that — as you said — you “really liked this plugin and was able to achieve the objective of ‘Exporting my users to a CSV’.” — That’s the purpose of the plugin, which I’m supporting for free ??
