    Do you read?!
Make a save (Backup) of your database and your file (especially the uploadsfolder), because the code have to update the database and deletion of files that are irreversible,so if something goes wrong is better have a backup.
Performs tests on any page, other than your own default, but having the same characteristics, since I have not tested for compatibility with other plugin, so you can see if will work fine

Clineco, I had the same experience. I ran it on a test site and it deleted most of my images. I use several different plugins to upload and manage images and some html pages that call images from the site as well. I think that the root problem with this plugin is it assumes the images are all in the same place. If you have a simple site it might work, but for now I would not recommend anyone use it.

I’m surprised no one has written a good unused image deletion program. It doesn’t seem like it would be that hard, scan file structure for images then list the images that are not referenced in the database or html.

jsigned the first code did that, because this plugin was based on DUI, if you want to try and see if do what you want https://www.nicearma.com/problem-with-dui-plugin-wordpress/ but be careful, because this plugin do a search in folders, but when you delete the image, the database is not update, so if you search the image when you make a post, you can chosse the image delete because wordpress have the referenced image in the database, but the image not exist in the server, i have to work in the plugin but for this moment i dont have time

Please be careful, dont use in your site, only do test in some test site, is only for know is that what you want and if working with your plugin, and in DNUI i take the root from the configuration of wordpress, so if some other plugin take another root for the image is not possible for me find that root, only if i adapt the code for that plugin
