[Plugin: DMSGuestbook] Who Will Reply?

    Hi,

    I was wondering if this plugin works with a category restriction plugin so that user submits their entry for a particular group, and a user restricted to post in that category will answer their entry? I have multiple contributors on my site, and I had to limit what category they can post in. And I would like to start a guest book that allows each user to answer questions designated for their particular category.
    Would it be possible to place a feature request? Or can someone provide some guidance on how can I write this function? Thanks.

    In addition, I would like to contribute to the Chinese translation, but where can I upload it? [Can’t do it here or via the contact form on the author site.]

    Please send your Chinese translation as file to DMSGuestbook [at] DanielSchurter [dot] Net. Before send: check your “dmsguestbook/language” directory on your ftp, there is already a Chinese translation.

    A feature that user submits their entry for a particularly group is not planed, because DMSGuestbook is only a guest book and don’t have multi level interaction with other users.

    Do you search a forum plugin?

    Hi Daniel,

    I didn’t look for a forum plugin because I thought it was way too intense for something this simple. Maybe I do have to resort to modifying the plugin myself. In that case, I was wondering if you can help me with writing the function? You wrote the plugin after all, right? ??

    And I did check for the Chinese translation previously, but it’s just a text file with your sample translation, nothing more. I’m translating the mo and po files, I’ll send them to that email as soon as I finished.

    Yes I wrote this plugin, but unfortunately I don’t have time to help you to write this feature, because I have to learn for my exam, sorry.

    You have right, only German and English DMSGuestbook backend text are available now. I thought you mean the frontend guestbook text…
